We aim to embody the teachings of Chassidic philosophy and those of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, leader of world Jewry in this generation. Those being Ahavat Yisrael (love of the people Israel), the dissemination of Torah study, both revealed and inner aspects, performance of Mitzvot (G.d's Commandments) with joy and inner intensity, all directed to greet Moshiach.

Rabbi Uri Gelman has completed his Rabbinical degree at Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch in Brooklyn, New York in 1993. He has been the rabbi of the 4300 Bathurst Street Synagogue since 1997.
